Exercise of some sort is expected. It will help speed up your metabolism by building new muscle tissue. Make sure that you take your current fitness level into consideration when planning where you will start.

I started with 1/4 mile walk, 3 times a week a couple of weeks ago. I'm now doing 1/2 mile walk, 3 times a week. I had to start very slowly as I had a c-section a year ago and my stomach muscles are still very tender and sore at times.

I'm glad that the bunless hamburger worked for you. It's a lot easier to skip the bun if its never in front of you. I also get tacos or meat burritos without the tortillas.
