Subject: Do vitamins help you lose weight? Hmm. In a way they do. The B vitamins help you to drop excess water and not retain so much. I take a good multivitamin with 100% of the RDA of all the Bs, and as close to 100% or more of the other important ones C, D, A, E. I also take Potassium, and sometimes magnesium and calcium. This is to prevent leg cramps we sometimes get on this diet.

  • In adddition to a Centrum-type daily vitamin, I also take 400mg of Chromium Picolinate which helps stabilize blood-sugar levels, a B-50 capsule (all the essential B's), Calcium, Magnesium, and FiberCon. When I can afford it, I also take L-Carnatine. (NT) -- Kel, 06:08:22 06/06/02 Thu
