Hi CTM,
Was doing some surfing through differnet diet sites this am and saw your letter. First of all I am truly sorry that you are so discouraged, secondly TRY NOT TO GIVE UP!
I too have battled the bulge for the past 3 years, I have always been on the heavy side but after giving birth to my first child at age 36 all hell broke loose.
I was 190 pounds and 5' 4" at my heaviest which was this past January. I was so depressed, irritable, tired, etc..etc..etc.. sure you have heard the story and lived it yourself so I will not get into it.
Tried every diet and pill I could get my hands on Enrich (Burn), Atkins, Cabbage soup, strictly exercise, sin a day diet... again etc...etc..etc.. Finally after not being able to stand it any longer I decided I would bite the bullet and try Weight Watchers point system, a few pepole I knew had been successful with. If you are familiar I will not be redundant if you are not please let me know and I will let you know what it is I have found helpful. My current weight is 150 pounds I feel loads better and after the intial first 3 weeks I quit feeling so deprived and sorry for myself I really got into it. As I said you may have tried and not liked but if not and want more info email me, by the by, tried the low carb thing twice and ended up gaining all back and then some... and then some more!

Take Care of Yourself and do not hesitate to write,
Cindy
