I know that you are at a point where you have to watch your calories too. How about extra salads? The carbs aren't too high in lettuce because of the fiber.

How about frozen chopped spinach, nuke until warm, squeeze out the water, mix in a little bit of heavy cream and some parm or mozzarella cheese, a little onion powder and garlic powder, and a touch of salt. The carbs are really low, and this feels substantial and satisfying.

Switch to lower carb nuts (pecans and macs) for snacks, so that you get more punch for your carb count. I tend to eat almonds which aren't quite as good, and use up too many carbs for the satisfaction that I get.

I go through periods like this also. I find that things like devilled eggs, pepperoni and cream cheese, that are a combination of fat and protein stick with me and keep me full longer.

Hang in there, Kel. We'll get through this too.
