I used to drink at least 4 Diet Pepsi's a day. I went cold turkey off of them last Nov. I did get headaches--not bad ones, just annoying ones that would miracuously go away once I had a Diet Pepsi fix. I decided that I didn't really need that "fix" anymore & didn't have any for about a month. Then, after that, when I would have an occasional one, I would have to have it early in the day because it would keep me up 1/2 the night (especially Diet Coke). Now, since I started this WOE in May, I don't miss them at all. I do sometimes miss my pop though, so I will have a Diet Rite occasionally. Although, I've decided that Kool-Aid fixed with non-aspartame sweetener usually does the trick! :)

  • Kel, I started by postponing my first caffeine fix for the day. I put off my first diet coke of the day by an hour or so each day, until I was able to go all day without one. I do use some caffeine free soft drinks and decaf iced tea instead now. (NT) -- Katie, 10:57:32 06/17/02 Mon
