Has the excercise balls the cheapest I have seen them. Target had them for 30 dollars and I am too cheap to spend that much, but when I went to Walmart the one I got there was less than $14.

I'll try the excercise you suggest. I'm going to have to work up a whole program based on abs, and leg muscles. I'm already working my upper body pretty well. On the news today there was information about women lifting weights and becoming "biologically younger" as a result. Said some women (due to increased muscle and bone density due to weight lifting) were "20 years younger" biologically. If that isn't a motivator to get some extra muscle, I don't know what is.

If you want to see the excercise article go to ABC.com (I saw it on ABC news).

I too "dread going" to the gym. When I used to work out at the gym I went to really luxury place that made me feel pampered just to be there, and I still dreaded going. It was right next to my work, I had to pass it to go home, so I made it a point to go every other day or so. Even then there were days when I sat in the car arguing with myself about whether I was going to go inside or not. Sometimes it would take me a half hour or more to make up my mind whether I was really going to go inside or start the car back up and drive home.

BUT, life is easier now, I have space in my house, and I have the equipment, and I have time in the morning before work when I have the energy to work out, so I'm taking advantage of it.

And you know what? I feel FANTASTIC as a result. This morning after my workout driving to work I just felt "Like a Rock" (like Bob Seeger sings). Felt so strong and happy.

There really are endorphins (feel good hormones) that you get from solid excercise. Especially weight excercising.

It is hard to get into it. I'm one person who has made excuses after excuses for not excercising, but once you have started to make it a habit, and stick with it, it isn't so bad at all.

Of course it is summer time. I have lots more energy in the summer than I do in the winter. We'll see if I'm still hanging in there about the time December rolls around.
