In more than one word? He was a biped, vertical spine (like a human, rather than a dinosaur, for example). Black, thick leathery skin. Had a hawk-like beak, which was serrated. About 30 feet tall. Walked digitigrade (not flat-footed), had a long thick tail. All of his limbs, his tail, his skull, and his spine were all bladed and serrated. Massive claws on five-fingered hands (which is notable because most Lavanians who have hands at all have three fingers and a thumb - no pinky), massive eagle-like talons for feet. Terrifyingly fearsome.
