Caleway? Wow, you do have a good memory.

If I recall correctly, (because I do -not- have a good memory), Caleway arrived when Redwood was gone/missing and had left Akartis in charge with no warnings and only the Guardians to help the youngling out. Caleway was the equivalent of a mercenary and basically said that Akartis was going to hand over Terole's reins to him. Akartis replied with an "eff you" and challenged him to a deathmatch for the planet.

Okay, so maybe Akartis was a little wordier than that, but you get the jist. Akartis only won because of a Terolian citizen that helped him last just a little longer underwater and also healed him a bit - otherwise, my poor boy would've lost completely and died.
