Well, I'm going to answer all those replies in order that I see them. I think Kitty's right, we should have a list of who goes next on the flight board, so maybe if your character is next you can change their behavior a little time before.

Grasscat, you read my mind. I think it would be wonderful if a green states she doesn't want any other males to fly her, especially in cases where you have closely bonded weyrmates or a plot that is being carried out. If the players want to play out the flight, it can let an "open" flight take place at the same time, as the dragons know the outcome so they don't get uppity about being challenged for mates/suitors. If a green states she only wants so and so to fly her (or the player does), then another flight can proceed at the same time. This way we move the flights along and everyone is happy. If there is concern that there is only one dragon chasing, perhaps it could be permitted to have "NPC" dragons along with the winner, just so it looks like she's got a big crowd, if that's what the player wants. XD

Deystar, I don't want to sound mean saying this, but I don't think having Chellith clutch is a good idea at ALL. And I am speaking strictly from canon (aka Anne's book rules) when I say this, so it's not me. Besides, I know that Shrineth, or any queen dragon for that matter, would not tolerate another dragon clutching on her sands. It would be inexcusable and Chellith would be killed byt the queen. As is, Grenith (and Palirth and I think...Selenith? or something) have already been green rulebreakers, maybe there's another way she can break the rules that doesn't involve a clutch? I say this only for the integrity of the game, not to be omg teh mean0rz, I promise. I'm sure there's another way to have a plot, you guys aren't short on those!

So, I will ask you kindly, since it isn't my game, to not have Chellith clutch because it would be rather a bad idea. Thank you very much,

<3 El
