Do I HAVE any? 20 characters, 4 of them blueriders (one, admittedly, still in weyrling training), 3 of them brownriders, and not one of them with a particular reason NOT to give chase. ^_^ My riders tend to be a randy bunch. The bigger difficulty will probably be in choosing WHO gets to go... although now that I think of it, Caphoth's out, because I've already stated him as too small and weak to fly a green (poor P'rin has to find his lovers through other methods). Not that it narrows the field much. I think I'll have to draw straws or something. ^_~

And it's not my game either, nor really my business, but I have a couple free pennies to drop into the green clutch thing. El's right; between DRoP and now NIW, there's been three already. Green clutches are rare and more to the point, UNWANTED - not to offend anyone, but that is basically Anne's canon. They're not just unwanted, in fact, but I get the impression that dragonriders are downright superstitious about them, like they're bad luck for the Weyr. And right after Grenith's flight, I'd think any responsible Weyrlingmaster would be keeping a VERY close eye on his greens, and probably pulling aside any he or she even SUSPECTS might be proddy to teach them a bit about firestone before the rest of the class. Plus, as El pointed out, queens get vicious about their clutches, and by Weyr law if not game rules Shrineth would probably be in her rights to do something nasty to Chellith and/or the eggs. Not that you have to listen to me - feel free to ignore me if you like - but at this point it would feel overdone, and detract from the drama of the new Weyrleader and Shrineth's flight/clutch, which isn't really fair to them. I'm probably prejudiced, but El's waited a long time for this, and overshadowing it with yet another green clutch seems rather unkind.
