Hmm, then that would challenge once again the idea of a wher going or not going 'between' if a bond isn't formed. Ah, how enjoyable critical analysis is...mind you, I am rather nit-picking about these things. I noticed in one book that the author changed the eye colour of one of the characters, and sulked for a while.

Yes, I am sad.

Out of interest, do you think they'd ever make a film of the Pern novels? What with His Dark Materials and Eragon being made into movies, I'm beginning to wonder if Pern might not be next on the list...
