I will assume that you've learned about religions fairly well to have formed this negative (or neutral, as the case may be) opinion, so I'll shut up. ^_^ No need to explain yourself unless you'd like to. :)

Erg. Sorry Kay-chan, I really meant no offense. I was Christian myself, and the vast majority of people I know are still -- I respect those who uphold the real tenets in that faith, and the faith itself (when not taken so literally) is beautiful. To try to explain a second... that song was obviously written by a pagan. ^_^;; We think of all religions (including atheism) as ways of perceiving the same basic divinity; everyone's beliefs, if they work for that person, are true and sacred. The line wasn't meant to say that all of our gods coalesce into one at the end -- just that all religions are worshipping the same basic concept in different ways and with different faces, so to speak... but they're all equal and just as important and valid. Will shut up now. Please dun take offense, mri'fao... just trying to explain m'self. ^_^;;
