Hythe went over to the leathersw box, and picked out some well oiled ones. She rearrange Shah on her hip, and began to put the leathers on her Ith. She got it all on, though she wasn't sure if the thins and thicks were in the right place. The thins in the front, right?
While she figureds it out, she remembered something she read in a record. Dragons don't usually name themselves after others in the past, but the Original Ith had been a bronze rider a, High Reaches, she though. Well, maybe that was good!
'Do I have these on right?" She asked the Weyrling Master. She shifted Shah to her other hip, and kept an arm over Ith's neck.
