How could she explain to him that the 'he' was her father? Well, that would be a pretty good statement in itself.. yet that would probably only freak him out on the account of the fact that her father was a convicted murderer. She moistens her lips a bit, those soft cat-like eyes of hers moving to his features -- searching there, "He's my dad.. I'm the last of my mom, he's still angry with her from that night -- and I think he's ready to get rid of me." She moistens her lips a bit. She'd contacted Frank Brady when all this had started, but Frank was down in LA and she was, well.. here. A glimmer of a smile touches her features at his request, "You already are my friend -- you have been ever since you started to care." Those old eyes of hers were still on his handsome features, thoughtful to say the least, her tone soft, "You'd do that?" Her words were disbelieving -- 'cause no one did that for Tex.
