Subject: The big.. bad.. wolf.

As the woman sat by the bedside of the ailing man, her lips were pursed with anger, her rythmic toe tapping the only ventilation of the emotion. Her arms had crossed her chest, dark chocolate gaze simply staring at the strong, yet dying man before her. As he starts ranting again, the woman glances to the door impatiently. Erica was supposed to be here hours ago, and her father was getting a little more than testy -- and it was almost time for Sherry's hourly medicine, the one that made her feel all nice and floaty. The man's gruff voice could be heard even on the floor below, he hadn't yet lost his strength, and the woman obviously was impatient for him to start chemo.. but in the short run, she couldn't wait for her daughter to get here to share this damn burden for a just a few minutes. What was taking that girl so damn long? Was it too much to ask to sit with her father for just a few minutes? God, after all they'd done for her. Sherry's anger was building by the second, Erica was going to pay for being late.
