i thought it was more realistic when john lost his temper on occasion. none of us are like donna reed or father knows best, no one is really that saintly.
my 90 year old mom recently got after my 96 year old dad for being so grouchy...he said something like "you should know after all these years together that is just my way! i am not mean i am just a grouchy old man!" she retorted that he was a grouchy little boy and a grouchy young man too! lol! i have a 29 year old airman son who takes after his dad and my dad too...he was born a grouchy old man in 1979!i have gotten used to the "spice" they add to my life.
