LOL....'their house was full of quilts'. Yes, of course it was. Quilts were made from left over scraps of clothing and fabric used for other purposes. They were made by hand by the women of the house. They didn't buy these like we do now in antique stores or on ebay!! Quilts weren't expensive like they are.
