How blessed we are to have Earl's beautiful words and when spoken in his voice it is just like Catie says, "gourmet icing on a homemade cake". I love that, Catie!
Great post. I'll have to look through my Good-night JohnBoy book and see if there are others. Off hand, I can think of scenes with Verdie-when she tells Ben he is a man after he returns her purse with his money in it and when she seeks and finds her roots.
