    The Starbucks on the boardwalk near where the Warner Bros. Studio Store used to be opens next week (according to someone that was cleaning the glass windows)! They're going to have around 15 or so tables to sit at inside the store (they're already there). They'll probably have tables outside during the summer. I peaked inside and I saw them trainng employees. I don't know whether or not they'll have ice cream! I hope so, though.

    WoW-everyone that we met was really really NICE!...........except TONY from VENTNOR!---->(not that he was "not nice",he was his "real self". as was MICK the IRISH GUY-BUT-MICK did buy drinks (as promised))

    2nd place, this was BEST LOOKING COUPLE at FACES III.........RICH & KAREN, BUT they were in an UPSET for BEST couple by the #1 couple.

    MICK scored points for talking about RUGBY of all things, AND,he disclosed that he has benn BANNED from a certain talk radio show,(on 1450-am)-BUT MICK could not do it alone!-his lovely wife M!-(a newcomer)...helped to put MICK & M. as the #1 COUPLE of VOICES BEHIND THE FACES IV.(MICK was buying drinks at the bar as promised,that helped a little)

    JENNIFER ALTMAN-best outfit. Her stylish glasses and hairstyle put her designer black pantsuit over the top.

    .....YEAH-ROn was there-uh,....uh..BEST HAWWIAN(sp?) SHIRT!

    I really do sense that you're trying to do the right thing around here. And, things being so subjective in life, you'll always be open to criticism.

    I think it's important to note that all things are not as they appear. For instance, I think there are trouble makers who pretend to be certain people or, pretend that they support a certain person, to create problems.

    You madea similar observation a few days ago, and it caught my ear and ear.

    The only negative remark is the conduct of this alter-ego person talkoffline. This person posts very ugly things and should think before he/she speaks, er, writes.

    ........been listening to 1450am more this week. If I change the station once, I can get "stuck" at that station at least for a couple of minutes.-if it's intresting,I stay tuned in.

    I still haven't heard a "local" news brief on WKXW (yet?). Except for hearing part of a pretty sad CARTON/ROSSI excuse for entertainment (yesterday)-I have to say that....

    I really like 101.5! The more "boring" the topic-the better! That's where they can really do what they do best, AND-I find the calls from all over NJ are what make the station extraordinarily UNIQUE.

    I think that the station has seriously put itself back "in the zone"-and despite the major changes,(ownership,air personalities...(all at one time)-they have managed to KEEP what made them a great station in the first place.(except ROBERTA-I still miss her show)

    CONGRATULATIONS to NJ101.5 for not totally screwing up a good thing!

    Since I have added that little "visitors on the site" thingy at the top of the page- I can see "search strings" of people who have just "Googled on in". It shows up as a "referrer".

    One person typed in the words "annoying+radio+listeners" and this page came up!,also of the 5 search engine "hits" (people who visited this site after putting keywords in a search engine) today,I find it interesting that 3 of those hits were looking for info. on "keyword" John O' Neil.(and those were just the people who found this site while searching for info.)

    May God bless Agent O'Neil and his family and if anyone out there does have any information about what really happened,his family is heartbroken and would probably apprieciate it if someone came forward if there is something that they should know.

    As most of you know, I closed my AC talk radio board, because of the constant abuse by Hurley fans calling my board slanderous.

    The fact is, of all local websites and message boards, none are more slanderous then Hurley's. The "Hall of Shame" the "Satire of Unreal People", and the message board.

    Last night, I posted a message calling Don Williams a "two faced, lying sack of garbage." on Hurley's message board to prove how slanderous that board is. The message is still there. (I don't really think that about Don)

    I used to like Hurley. I don't now. He is a no talent. He is at the end of his radio career. Nor he, or his fans want to admit that, but it is true.

    SO. The powers that be in Atlantic City are issuing statements and protesting the idea of an AUDIT!...(and crying "racisim" (again))

    BOY OH BOY-I'm really surprised that they are already afraid to get audited!!!! That leads me to believe that they are UP TO NO-GOOD!!!!!.....

    Many cities WELCOME the audit and even REQUEST a state audit for budget suggestions. Most citoes know that it would be very expensive to pay for an audit,AND it helps keep everybody honest.

    BAD BAD DUMB MOVE-I have not heard of one city that balked (publicly) at this. WHY NOT?-BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE CROOKS!!!

    Can someone please tell me when the Atlantic County Sheriff's race starts? Most campaigns start the day after Labor Day. My prediction that Squires will smoke McGettigan in this election will be rescinded if Squires doesn't start running.

    Is The Boss telling Squires NOT to campaign?

    The local Kingmakers,Rusty,Rich and so on are supporting McGettigan. WHY?

    And what the hell is Willie Norwood doing in this race??? Did I really hear Norwood discuss a pro-marijuana platform with Levinson this morning. I can just see Sheriff Norwood riding into town on a clydsdale,and smoking a big fat blunt

    Does Mr.Squires even know how to ride a horse? And if he does win-what will he wear when riding?-a business suit?

    Lies have been spread and now rehashed weeks later on this Message Board about how many hours Harry Hurley works in a week. Those who know him, can't even countthe hours. 4-5 TV shows a week he hosts, Numerous responsibilities with the State's largest radio broadcasting company, The Daily Sentinel, SJ Insider Magazine, His own and the area's best and most visited web site and Monday thru Friday updates on radion and 8 hours on Sat and Sun.

    Now, there's Barbara Altman who does less than 9 hours a week on-the-air and that's it. Whittaker does 5 hours and that's it. Pinky does 10 hours. And the weekend part-timers do next to no on-air time.

    Why is Hurley ravaged? he works more hours than all the others put together and then some.

    The Moderator of this Board is obsessed with Harry Hurley.

    I heard Ron call Don's show this morning, complaining about Comcast and asking about the dish. We broke down and got it a couple years ago and wouldn't go back. The costs for the tier we have are comparable to what we are paying for cable, and the times we have had interference are fewer - yes, there are weather interruptions, during severe rainstorms. When the rain hits the dish, the picture breaks up - maybe 3-4 times in the past two years.
    What don't we get? Channel 40 (which we can still hear on the radio) and CN8. We do get WWAC now. You can tailor the tier to what you like, sports, movies, children's entertainment, and pay anywhere from $30-$120 a month, depending upon the nature and severity of your addiction. We have no premiums (having dumped HBO, Showtime and C-Max), but have Bravo, Sundance, IFC and Starz.
    Glad to hear Ron is on the mend. He sounded a lot stronger this morning.

    Do any of you 'SCANNER BUFFS'know what frequency VCPD is now broadcasting on? They were always on 460.075, but have now disappeared. Fire dispatch is still on their same channel, but not the police. I know Rich in Brigantine tells D W that he listens to his scanner, so perhaps he can be of help to me. I receive communications from Cape May to the Bronx, but cannot find Ventnor. I do not have the time to scan all channels, and I thank anyone for their help.
