BETWWTS.COM SUSPENDS BETTING ON THE BACHELOR
St. John’s, Antigua (November 7, 2002)—BetWWTS.com, a leading offshore gaming company, suspended wagering on ABC’s The Bachelor earlier this week following a deluge of wagers on one of the remaining bachelorettes. Suspicions were aroused when the company began receiving up to nine new account applications per minute originating from the bachelor’s hometown of Springfield, Missouri beginning on October 31st, all of which placed bets on the same woman. Aaron Buerge, the bachelor, it seems is not the only person who knows the answer to the question all of America is asking.
Of the money placed on The Bachelor bet offer, over 60 percent originated from Springfield, Missouri and was all placed on the same bachelorette. Management discovered the consistency of the bets and their origin earlier this week when the decision was taken to suspend wagering on the show.
“In the past few days we have seen an abnormal amount of maximum limit wagers originating from the hometown of the bachelor, all of which were backing the same woman and forced us to suspend the betting on the show,” said Buck Churchill, chief bet manager of BetWWTS.com. “Next week’s episode of the show is entitled ‘The Women Tell All!’, but as we see it perhaps a better title would be ‘The Bachelor’s Friends Tell All!’.”

I was one of her biggest fans! Purchased all her movies, and cd's, and tapes! Read her book! Still loved her after knowing about her life! When she married a few years ago, I was thrilled at her choice of men!
I am a professional woman, with an income over 7 figures. Barbara was the only celebrity, I would personally have stood in line to purchase a ticket of a few hundred dollars to see.
Yes, I waved my flag to Barbara, but no longer! I tried to justify to everyone a few years ago during President Bush's campaign, that she was just a dyed in the wool democrat, trying to sway votes. But, now I find she is cold blooded and has no respect for "MY PRESIDENT", the President of the GREATEST COUNTRY on earth! If your going to throw stones at a President why not an IMMORAL creature like Bill Clinton? Unless you are hiding a personal relationship with him! Which is the gossip among my friends. (Again, which I have defended Barbara until now)!
Enough is enough Barbara! If you're an American and if you love this country, be patriotic and "STAND BEHIND OUR MAN, PRESIDENT BUSH"! LISTEN TO THE VOTERS, or your going to have fewer fans! In times like these we need a strong man, like President Bush to lead our country (which he is doing), not playing with cigars in the oval office, like your man (Mr. EX President Clinton)!
I believe in fate, and I believe in God! He gave us Clinton to show us how sick our society is, and he has given us Presdient Bush as hope for the future!

Subject: GOD AND ICE CREAM
Thank God for children saying grace.......
Last week I took my children to a restaurant. My six-year-old son
asked if he could say grace. As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good,
God is great. Thank you for this food, and I would even thank you more
if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And liberty and justice for
all!
Amen!"
Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby I heard a
woman remark, "That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't
even
know how to pray. Asking God for ice-cream! Why, I never!"
Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I do it wrong?
Is God mad at me?"
As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job and
God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the
table.
He winked at my son and said, "I happen to know that God thought
that was a great prayer." "Really?" my son asked.
"Cross my heart," the man replied............Then in a theatrical
whisper he added, (indicating to the woman whose remark had started this
whole thing), "Too bad she never asks God for ice cream.....a little ice
cream is good for the soul sometimes."
Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My
son stared at his for a moment and then did something I will remember
the rest of my life. He picked up his sundae and without a word, walked
over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her,
"Here, this is for you.... ice cream is good for the soul sometimes, and my
soul is good already."
I love this story! Keep it moving.

Just read latest edition of NEWSWEEK. Story about ONLINE GAMING CASINOS. Online casinos are second only to porno in generating income on the www.The report goes on to mention that one person is in prison (sentence 21 months) for running an online gaming site. Of course US law at this time makes gambling online illegal due to "wire/(telephone line) case law.(UH-is it ok to play using wireless?)
So here is my dumb ???-How come it is ok to play the stock market online??? (or even buy "collectibles" on ebay in the hope of selling at a profit?)????

I heard Don say that he was making the dunes lady wait for a half an hour on hold because he didn't want his entire show to be about the dunes again and there are more important things to discuss.Some man called (from Ventnor),the man called about another subject but Don asked him,"What do you think about the dunes?"

Just wondering,heard a caller to Seth Grossman say that McGettigan and Gormley are distant cousins? Before this race,why did Republicans always put a joke candidate up for Sheriff?Are there two Republican parties in Atlantic County? LoBiondo Republicans and Gormley Republicans?
And if so,which ones support Squires? I say LoBiondo is the one supporting Squires. Am I right?

on JEFF'S show today. I've heard a lot of political rhetoric but I have never heard anyone campaign on this level before. His statements about persons in his own department who are apparently not voting for him (to say the least.He mentioned that they were wearing "signs" today.)-were brilliant. Something about how they might not like him but that he has no complaints about their work and what a great job they do....I had already made up my mind to vote for McGETTIGAN but if I had been undecided- that interview would have done it for me.

I am so sure that McGettigan is done as Sheriff, I offer the following. If McGettigan wins the election for Sheriff, I will never post on this message board again! Hurley tells Joe LaTorre "Shut Your Big Fat Mouth." He reports with glee that the AC Board of Ed may be suing LaTorre for speaking out in public.What a shame. In the time that LaTorre has served the School Board, I have felt a confidence that someone is looking out for our kids. Now-if what Hurley says is true, the elected Board will waste time on intenal politics that have nothing to do with improving/maintaining the School System.
Hurley would like people to think that he reports the truth,yet when he doesn't like someone,he supports a gag-order.VERY REVELEING INDEED
.........oh yeah,I will make it my mission as a parent to find out when AC school Board meets. Any public attempts to screw Joe LaTorre will be questioned.(I will bring other parents also)I understand that a report on AC School Violence/problems is out in The Press Today. (did not see it yet).From what I understand,there is a heavy law presence at the school. I also hear that there are guns but that students are un-willing to report exactly how the guns are getting in due to the fact that they do not want to have cell-phones,mp3 players and other prohibited items confiscated.
