Date Posted: Sunday, April 13, 08:05:59pm In reply to: Terry Willcox 's message, "Coaster." on Tuesday, March 25, 04:45:03pm Doddles, one of three or four coasters based at Fullbridge Wharf belonging to A J Brush, also had a fleet of green Thames Trader tipper trucks. I worked on the Maureen Brush and ran out of Heybridge Basin (nearest pub Jolly Sailor) with sand and ballast for riverside plants like Readymix along the Thames and Medway rivers. The skipper I knew on the Doddles was Maurice a friendly chap.
