Date Posted: Thursday, April 17, 03:43:15pm Hello all, put you heads together and come up with the truth on this, mine was the "RUAHINE" out of KG5, London in 1964, I was a JOS ( a peggy to the bosun and bosun mates plus all the other hanger on's sailmakers etc etc etc ) all from the Isle of Lewis, the food was DIABOLICLE. I used to look at the food on their plates before putting it in the "Hot Cabinet" I even saw some kind of metal clip in a boiled potato once which on returning to wash their dishes was on the side of the plate, the rest had been eaten! Half the crew came down with diarrhoea and the DR refused to admit food poisoning, This is the truth, can anyone beat this expreiance?
