Date Posted: 19:24:21 01/23/04 Fri In reply to: Falcon and Kyo 's message, "Re: ~*~*arrival.*~*~" on 17:16:49 01/23/04 Fri ~+~*Aeden seemed to have regained all of his health- and was starting to resemble a normal child now. he was clearly more energetic, not quite so pale, and most of the scars were less visible now. he didnt really know anybody here- so for the most part, he stayed away from everybody. you werent really sure, but he seemed like he was distracted by something, far off into the distance. after a while, you began to feel it too. you stopped, and stared- off into the thick growth of trees. with little else to do, and feeling rather safe in this area, you decided that you might as well take a look. you left all of your things behind at the shelter, and took off into the water. even to Kyo's surprise, it did not bother him- actually, it fealt quite nice. that was your first indication that this place was balanced as far as elements went. you wandered for about a half an hour until you reached that which had alerted you- a young girl, lying in the water up to her chest. you couldnt leave her there- so, you picked her up, and carried her back to the shelter. everything was as you had left it, down to the last detail. you set the girl down, and studdied her. aside from being wet, she seemed normal- she had firey red hair with bangs that curled slightly across her eyes, and dropped to her waist in the back. she was dressed, oddly, in dragon scale armor- black and red scales. the back was open, though, and the sleeves on the armor stopped at the elbows. on the matching leg armor, it stopped at the ankles- where she had unusual boots that spiraled around her legs at the tops rather than closing off. you opened one of her eyes to see if you could get a response, and were met with hauntingly familiar green eyes. you were not sure where you had seen them before- but there they were. you rolled her over, and brushed her hair out of the way. no injuries on her back- but there were some things that you noticed. at the base on her neck there was a black star, with six points. you had seen that same star on Naoki's coat- as a sign that bound him to Xalia. Kestrian Star, worn by the riders to show proof of their bonds to their not-quite-draconian counterparts, to match the stars upon their heads. did that mean that this girl had a Kestrian hidden somewhere out here? you looked down lower onto her back- and again marks to give her away. small white marks between her shoulder blades, places for wings to attach. that gave her race away- a Faerie, pure blooded, which likely meant that she had 2 sets of wings. you rolled her onto her back again, and checked her for weapons. you found nothing more than a single throwing star in her belt. you didnt need to ask her- you knew what happened. she would have gone out at the same time as Psyke, then. so, she would probably wake up after he did. you wondered- how did the incident in the cave have effect upon the rest of the workings in this world? everything made by the Faeries was going to be useless for a while.*~+~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
