What may seem like small problems to some aren't so small when you're the person facing them.

As for screwing up past relationships, are you so sure YOU are the one who screwed them up? It takes two to make one work. Were they putting in the effort?

I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons and decide which side has more points.

I've been in too many relationships where I didn't feel like a priority. And I took it. I let myself be taken for granted. I resented it and it hurt my feelings but I took it anyway. I won't do it again. Life it too short. If we're willing to put the effort forth to make someone else a priority in our life why can't they do the same? Why should it always be about when it's convenient for them? Why can't they ever make the effort when it's convenient for us? Give and take. Both people in the relationship should be thinking about what is best for the other person and not just themselves. If it's always all about his choices, will you really be happy if you move in together? Or will you just be living somewhere else waiting for him to find time for you?

Can you talk to him about your feelings? Is he willing to listen? I hope it works out for you since you do love him but he needs to realize that it can't be all about him and everything can't revolve around his schedule all the time. That isn't fair.

I completely understand what you're saying. He probably will be very tired tonight and you probably wouldn't get any quality time with him. Too bad he didn't offer to take the day off. You'd think he'd want a day off after being gone for 10 days.

Well, I hope it all works out. I can't really offer any advice because I'd feel exactly the same way you feel. It's hard for me to get where he's coming from.

Take care,
Hugs,
Sandy
