Hi Liz......I give you credit for not going over to his house that night. Saying that you would feel like a hooker shows me that you have the self esteem to know what is right for you. I'm proud of you girl!!!!

What do ordinary people do on ordinary sundays? Sit home alone while their partners go to their tool and die shop to work on a corn boiler. I haven't had a sunday with mike in months. In fact, he works 60 hours a week at his regular job, then comes home only to bitch about what I haven't done during the day, and leaves til 9 pm when he comes home and expects dinner. Guess who doesn'tmake dinner anymore? We have been married nearly 21 years, and let me tell you it gets to the point where we take each other for granted all the time. I look for the paycheck, and he does whatever the hell he wants. Oh, he also is a member of the local gun club......so that takes up Saturdays too. Makes me want to work every weekend so I can have time during the week to make appointments. I have learned to live my life by myself.....take care of Sarah (who really doesn't need me anymore now that she has graduated), and play with my pets. Sad existance.

Can you talk to him about your feelings? Maybe plan a nice outing on a Sunday in the future and he will have plenty of time to take the day off? Its worth a try anyway.

Relationships are hard, no matter how long you have been with the person. 21 years, and I'm living my own life. Sex is non existant, and anger seems to rule my life. In 2 months, Sarah will be 18, and my legal obligations to her will be over......maybe it is time for me to get my own life. Who knows?
