(His eyes traveled over the group assembled at his table and he let out a soft sigh. It was good to be entertaining guests again.. this was just one more step towards normalcy for him following the kidnapping that had left these halls deserted for nigh on a year. His gaze locked onto his brothers quizzical one, right next do the downright shocked expression of his sister in law. One dark brow arched high as he stared back, before his gaze moved to Bree as she laid her hand within his own. His fingers closed around her hand and his thumb caressed the soft skin atop, and he smiled briefly before the dishes on the table decided to make a bit of a racket. He laughed as the lass Ashleigh scolded her son.) Och, we canna fault a lad for wanting his supper, aye? (He murmured, goodnaturedly, as he nodded to the servents to begin serving dinner. He was glad to see that everyone had a drink and that conversation had been taking place prior to his arrival - he could tell by the way his brother's voice was a bit raspy on the edges.) Aye, and our libraries are open to her anytime ye wish to use them, lass. (He said, turning his warm gaze on Ashleigh. The lass was such a pretty young thing, so obviously pregnant - and a son, no less, for the druid. His gaze moved next to Greylan, who was sitting between his lass and his brother, and then to Cin and finally to Linn. Turning his head slightly, he looked down the other side of the table, his brother, Evie, Cael and Gwen.. such a young and beautiful group he had in his great hall.) Actually.. (He murmured, turning his eyes on Ashleigh again.) Yon druid was telling me that ye have a knack for findin' things in musty ol' tomes. (He murmured, nodding to Cin as he said 'yon druid' in a manner that made it a teasing reference. He squeezed Bree's hand as he looked over at her.) Mayhap ye could aide us in finding out more about my mate.. (His gaze turned back to Ashleigh then, and the smile that he had had remained in place.) She's a white dragon, ken, and verra rare these parts. We are trying to learn a wee bit about her kind and the powers they possess.. so that I may help the lass learn how to control her powers. (He made a thoughtful look, half shrugging.) That and we dinna want to have to worry about what sort of havoc one of our young may wreak if we dinna ken how to control them, aye?
