He smirked a little at Chase, running his hand over the boys head tenderly. "That's right buddy, everything is alright now." He smiled softly at Gia before he looked back to Remy and nodded. "Well good, I am glad they are fitting in well. All the puppies have homes now, since we kept the last two. That's Destiny and thats Candy." He smirked lightly, shrugging innocently at Remy's cocked brow. She had been napping lightly when she heard the dogs barking and after a few minutes of lounging she tugged on a pair of flannel pants and padded out barefoot into the living room to see what was going on. A bright smile crossed her face when she saw Skeeter and remained when she saw Gia. "Gia! Look at you! You look ready to pop and this jerk is out dragging you around?!" She grinned teasingly, heading over to lean down and hug the other girl tightly. "It's about time Skeeter stopped keeping you all to himself, selfish bastard." She grinned teasingly, ruffling Skeeters hair playfully before she took her son who was reaching for her, wanting to cuddle with his mommy. She pressed a loving kiss to the top of the baby fine hair on his head before she went to sit down next to her husband. "So! Are you excited? Already for the arrival? Do you know if you are having a girl or a boy?" She shifted, holding Chase close as the toddler closed his eyes and cuddled against her breast. Ever since the attack, Chase had been really clingy with her, always wanting to be held and cuddled and she just didn't have it in her to tell him no. He smiled at Shay, hugging her in return before he settled back and let the girls talk, happy that McLean's wife was making Gia feel welcome and even wanted. Gia needed to be around other females, especially other mom's and if anyone could understand the result of trauma on a person, Shay could.
