It's all here!
Movies! TV Shows! Books! Music!
This is the place to discuss books, movies, music and tv shows other then JAG. This is your board! The structure is fairly loose but because not everyone watches the same tv shows, please limit discussion to one thread per episode.
We welcome your ideas on how this board should go. This is moderated the same as the HarmyBoard.

Stop it!!! I am longing for the beach too and I'm like you, no luck for me this season. Dont have a book selection...just wanted to whine. (NT) -- mkim, 19:29:16 07/02/08 Wed
Coppertone wafting in the breeze, the rustle of beach grass, the dry sand hot on your feet but the wet sand at the water's edge cool and enticing, the myriad plinking, beeping din from the arcade, the acrid odor of the bumper cars, kids squeeling, gulls skawking and careening for your fries, Kohr Brothers' vanilla & orange soft-serve sliding down your throat.... Maybe I should write my OWN beach story..... (NT) -- The Chief (sorry, mkim... well, sorta LOL), 20:12:47 07/02/08 Wed
You had me until the arcade...then I decided I'll settle for a lawn chair under a tree in my back yard. You are so bad, Chief.(smile) (NT) -- mkim, 01:15:05 07/03/08 Thu

Mkim is right because no matter how much the military keeps an eye on JAG especially AW now and how many of us diehards especially military experts want the show to be FULLY ACCURATE...this is still Hollywood. Im even prepared that characters we love will be butchered now and then...we all know what TV does. We can threat to boycott but deep down we are way too addicted to quit. We are veterans when it comes to torture surviving Bellisario's Jag.LOL!!! (NT) -- Paris, 23:42:40 07/02/08 Wed
I enjoyed seeing the glow of CB riding the bike as Denise on AW. Its her real life love and she becomes a happy kid around it. Im banking down the road one of the husbands will be killed. Easier to do that than one of the main ladies...plus TV is full of shockers for sweeps and ratings. I hope its Frank.......LOL!!! Im with mkim and others hoping Harm comes in the form of a past love or the new Army hubby. INside... -- Paris, 23:31:58 07/02/08 Wed
ooops...I put my response above your post, instead of under it. I think its time to call it a night! (NT) -- mkim, 01:19:12 07/03/08 Thu

Oh poor Teacup! I hope you find employment soon. Meanwhile, you can all the fun you want. Also, I happen to know how popular you are on the HBX. So you know you are wanted. Unfortunately, we can't afford your exorbitant fees....lol. (NT) -- Cece, 19:48:17 07/01/08 Tue
Thank you, Cece, that's very kind of you to say. (NT) -- Teacup, who at the moment really appreciates being told that I am wanted somewhere, 23:25:38 07/01/08 Tue
Sorry to hear about your current status. I too hope you find employment again soon. Look down at the non title listing...I've given a guess- this was a tough one! (NT) -- Christa, 19:51:54 07/01/08 Tue
Great idea, Chief! I think that kind of schedule would make it easier for everybody to have their turn at the board. Would Monday be a good password day or would the players prefer a different one? (NT) -- Dancer, 02:05:48 07/02/08 Wed

I must say, Cece, you're a lot braver than I. When it comes to SOTL, I've only ever seen about 30 to 40 minutes of it somewhere in the middle. What I saw seemed rather well done, and in its plot twists, almost intriguing, but I can't say I've ever felt compelled to see the rest of it. I like a good suspense yarn or crime drama as much as the rest of you, but CSI and its successors lost me as a customer when I realized the producers saw the physical gross-out as one of their main "selling points." As the Chief said, "Life is too short." (inside) -- Dancer, 00:31:55 07/01/08 Tue
