  • Yes, I really liked it. I'm not a big movie fan, especially sci-fi, but this was so...well, out there, I guess, that it seemed almost like a spoof, or maybe a cartoon. It didn't seem real enough to be scary. Therefore, it was just a good story, with some cute special effects. I am planning to watch part 2, although we'll be away so I'll have to DVR it.   For those of you who do not get the specialty channels and were not able to see the rest of the season 2 episodes (because Global TV stopped airing them), then rest assured that they are coming back on Global TV in the Fall.
  
  They are calling it 'season 3', but as of right now, it is just the continuation of the episodes that Global TV did not air.

It's a backstage still shot of DJE and CB from a segment that Entertainment Tonight ran about JAG when they were filming "Boomerang" in Australia in Season 5.           • I have kids who are entering the entertaiment business and I understand the process of "getting" cast. A person has to go with the jobs they are seeking. I can see DJE wanting to break the good guy mold once in a bit. He has to adventure into new territory as an actor or stimy himself into a few parts. The average rating for the first two hours is 6.5.   • We've discussed this before, but I could see him as a Benton Wesley type, i.e. an FBI profiler. A very cerebral role, good guy, solving crime, but something a little different than the lawyer role of Harm.   • Something like a 'Hart to Hart' series or a 'Dempsey and Makepiece' (this is a British show -- 2 detectives -- one male, one female who bantered and flirted, but always got the crooks and it was MUCH more sophisticated than 'Moonlighting' -- -- more understated and wry humuour which I think would suit DJE more than a silly David addison-type). Of course, I would LOVE to see CB playing opposite him. Also, this type of series would be perfectly do-able at their ages and with their looks now. They would sizzle -- I'm up for some sizzle!!!   • Strangely enough, I would like to see him as a family man in something more light hearted. Maybe like a family dramedy or something.   • I did, & first, let me say that I'm not really a Sci-Fi fan. I have watched everything that is available to us to see with DJE and I've been able to 'believe' the character, even if I didnt like the character very much. However, I have to say, I couldnt 'believe' DJE as John Serragoth. (I found myself cringing...alot)Please dont throw tomatoes, its a personal preference.   • I have to agree with mkim about this movie. I am not a fan of science fictions either although I did like Impact.. At time he did not even sound right and it was not the accent.         • David cannot be blamed for the inconsistent Scottish accent. It has been reported in an article interview with David that the producers felt his initial Scottish Burr might be too difficult to understand. Since they had already shot several days of footage, his accent was diminished by TPTB--not David's poor voice quality.   • I found the story hard to get into so I concentrated on DJE - his eyes, his movements - just everything about him - I did observe that he seemed not to be able to put his hands in his pockets again and assumed the usual JAG hands on the hips position, He was very sexy with his sexy broad shoulders and long hair - not to mention the closely shaved beard. He also had a 'deal' with that woman he is teamed up with - the 'kiss' I believe. That was funny. I can skip over everyting else but him - it is so good to see him again.   • Compared to some of the other movies I have seen on Sci Fi, I didn't think that it was that bad. I guess I chose to look at it like it was a popcorn/comic book type flick. They played it for fun and it may not have been the best but it wasn't the worst either. ITA with BT, DJE really looked smoking in leather.   • It's funny because I do enjoy some sci fi stuff, and I actually enjoyed the LOTR movies, but I watched this movie a week or two ago and just didn't think it was up to par. Plus, DJE's accent faded in and out a few times, which really bugged me. But, I watched it all the way through just to see him, even though I will probably never watch it again, sadly enough. I don't much care for any SciFi other than Lord of the Rings and the first few Harry Potter, and even those, I had to have read before I could understand the plot lines.   • On the SciFi channels Knights of Bloodsteel site a woman brags how they filmed the movie in 33 days instead of a lot longer as a 4 hours mini-series normally takes. I think that shows in the final product and the fact that they did not take the time to have DJE redo over his lines to tone down the accent for scenes already filmed.   • How many of us would have lasted 5 minutes watching this if DJE had not been in it? As it was, I turned it off after 30 minutes last night and switched to PBS to watch American Experience. Now, I am a fan of Sci-Fi, so I can't blame a lack of interest for my reaction. This thing was so bad it isn't funny. Did DJE have fun making it? Absolutely. I think they all had a wonderful time making the movie. Unfortunately the acting was abysmal, even by guys who can do much better, like Chris Lloyd & DJE. What if the show had been similar to Babylon 5 or StarGate or one of the other paramilitary type SciFi shows that we have enjoyed in the past. Wonder what our critisims would be.         • There are sevral shows on networks TV that are on the "bubblt" right now who have ratings in the 8-9's. This is actually a really good decision on the part of CB's management team. I love sci fi/fantasy anyway so I am hoping I will enjoy it when I get the opportunity to see it. However, I have to say I do much prefer the clean shaven look.   • Well, I liked KOB -- and as for someone asking about the modern day slang thing - I was able to put into my mind that Mirabilis wasn't on Earth. It was another planet, with differences.   • I'm so glad I wasnt the only one who HATED this movie. I am a HUGE sci-fi fan. I have every Startrek TNG book, ALL the Sargate SG-1 episodes, BOTH movies, most of the books.
