it is sad to see how michelle and her team has used these girls knowing that as far as they where concern some of these girls did not stand a chance to win. asking for an enterance fee of $3,000.00 and $250.00 for each event before that night of the event, $1,000.00 dollars on the night of the event even if you did not sell tickets those girls were forced to pay for ten tickets per event. those girls did not even walk away with a simple make up kit or a spa treatment. these organization need to be investigated you know the international standards why select girls why select girls that you could see was not prepared, to short, need teeth job, nose job, body was not ready etc. then have your little--- liers work with these girls by telling them you did good when they know these girls did not do good, you also have jarome pressuring these girls back stage before events for ticket money and telling them if they do not pay they will not go on stage. but yet you all care. i find you all to be deceptive, greedy, cold hearted people who prey on innocent girls and their dreams. believe you me you will suffer for this.
that is why you are over weight and looked unattractive for a person hosting a beauty---- event. that table cloth that you was wearing back and front suitssss you well. remember the seed you all sew you will reap

- ms brown.... umm i mean hope, u just said dat! Sayin in twice don't mean it make more sense ya know. It still sound like foolishness to me! (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 03:38:26pm
- So what do you expect our little country representatives to do internationally. Scream how unfair it is. THAT'S NOT A GOOD EXCUSES! WE NEED TO SEND GIRLS WHO ARE GOING TO BE AGGRESSIVE. Who are going to work above and beyond to make it happen for The Bahamas. Amy Sands, Lytharya Tinker, Loreneka etc. did it , despite not being a front runner. ENN NOTHING I HATE SO MUCH TO SEND A PRETTY GIRL YET SHE SITTIN NEXT TO THE WALL ACTING CUTE. IF YOU SEE THE CAMERA MEN TALKING TO MISS USA WHAT YOU GA DO? CARRY YA ASS N GET FRIENDLY WITH MISS USA AND WORK THE DAMN MAGIC. THATS BEING AGGRESSIVE. (NT) -- Pageant enthusiast, Thursday, May 12, 05:26:00pm
- Anyways...Those girls knew what they were up against and also yal bitch and moan about how Braneka worse some of the same wardrobe at Miss World yet complaining about MONEY. MBO has bills to meet every year like M.Universe fees and Miss World. What about training dont yal want our girls to have the foundation about pageantry or how to look internationally. Miss Bahamas is a pageant/contest in every contest there are people who come prepare and others who arent. Now looking at this year contestants there are only ONE girl who SHOULDNT BE ACCEPTED DUE TO HER HEIGHT. BUT LOOK AT LYTHRA WHO WAS THE SAME HEIGHT YET PLACING HIGH. MBO job is not to babysit and spoon-feed the girls. (NT) -- Pageant enthusiast, Thursday, May 12, 05:18:19pm
- Like i said b4 i will say this again the only way for you guys to have this kind of info is to be a commitee member or of some relations & this right here is unprofessional disheartinintg yes you guys have bills to pay & i don't agree with the person above making noise about money but if you say you shouldn't have accepted 1 contestant because of height it seem to me that you guys was giving the girl false hope. But to forget that hopefully the mistakes made this year doesnt replay. yes person have the freedom of speech but as the blog intro states all offensive implications will be removed which i think they should adhere to yall own rules.not be apart of discussing contestants because it shows a lack of fairness on yall behalf. No one say you can't defend yourself but i have seen "pageant enthusiast' on numerous occasions commenting about contestants in a negative way. becareful calling names without evidence it's called"defimation of character' Im done. - I c y dey does call PAGEANT AND POLITICS da SILLY SEASON!!!!! Een nuttin pageant enthusiast say on here what een PUBLIC KNOWLEGE! Lol! Dat een no inside information. Maybe cuz u new round here u wouldn't know, but what PE is sayin been said round here long time! (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 05:50:48pm
- Chile and if dey wasnt no johny come lately dey wouldve know I dont 100% agree with MBO. Say I'm a insider lol anyways and also like I said this in a different post. If Lathrya Tinker and Amy Sands could do it why cant a next girl. If a girl who is 5'4 is willing to work above and beyond they should be accepted. If it was up to this well prepared or well trained stereotype BRANEKA AND SASHA SHOULD NEVER BE ACCEPTED. The point im trying to say is in a competition the fresh face or unskilled girls can go very far or win it like Sasha and Braneka, mbo job is suppose to manage the compo not spoon feed girls. (NT) -- Pageant enthusiast, Thursday, May 12, 06:17:31pm
- Also did I mention a name? I only mentioned Lathrya, Amy sands who are both short. Damn it dust yourselves off and try again. Lathrya Tinker went into Miss Teen Bahamas and clap clap. The next year she tried again and pick up MOST OF THE WARDS. THE NEXT TWO YRS SHE WENT IN MISS BAHAMAS AND WAS THE MOST VERSATILE CONTESTANT DESPITE STANDING 5'4. I never mentioned Your family member!!!! What do you expect a 5'4 girl goinmg to Miss Universe and clapping her way from start til finish. OPPS FLASHBACK THIS ENN GAYNELL ROLLE STUBS WHO CROWNED THE SHORT GURL WHO WANT TO GET INTO MICHEAL JACKSON HEAD!!!!!!!! -- Pageant enthusiast, Thursday, May 12, 06:23:58pm
- Ok Ok I think the poster is trying to say as versatile as Lathyra was she did not make it past top 10 her or Amy, If you gat the balls to ask for 3000 and know for a fact a short girl will not come close to that crown and I ain talkin bout no top 10 cause top 10 don't get u no where DON'T ACCEPT them! If you have 5 girls who have the height and look u going for then go with them and use their money cause all them have a chance of having a crown on their head. No one want a chance at placing top 10 they gon in that ish to win and if u knw u ain crownin no short gal tell her dat from the first day. Sasha was tall, so bad skin and ruff hair ain no ting to fix u can't give someone height so after the 3000 like da child say they ain gon grow so don't make them feel like it gon get them somewhere ! -- Dat poster gat point u mean to tell me yall pay 3grand fa tru dang i feel that one for you, Thursday, May 12, 06:42:39pm
- SMT! U talkin da most foolishness cuz height een gat nuttin ta do with it. Last year, SHARIE DELVA WAS DA TALLEST GIRL in da competition and DIDN'T EVEN MAKE TOP 10! But what she do? She turn around, WORK ON HERSELF, come back the next year and get 1st runner up! A bunch a short girls beat her last year cuz she wasn't ready! So stop lookin fa excuse fa dese girls! If she wasn't ready, she wasn't ready. U can't blame da organization fa dat! Dey had months of trainin. Das plenty time ta work on improvin yasef! (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 06:48:31pm
- And annuder ting..... when da organization had the height limit at 5' 5" DA MOST PEOPLE WAS ON DIS BOARD SAYIN HOW IT EEN FAIR AND DEY DISCRIMINATIN! Now dey lower the height, and yall complainin dey shouldn't let short girls enter! Ya really can't please yall Bahamians jed! Latetra Laing wasn't tall, and she most win! (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 06:52:01pm
- eh hem, ok First of All llatetera competed during 1 a very uncompetitive year if you remember that is the year pageant vetrans and pretty non pageant veterans some who even left medical school to be crowned the miss bah universe who held the title while we as a host country hosted so, that year is already questionable -- LET's BE REALLLLL MORE INSIDE!!!!, Thursday, May 12, 07:07:29pm
- correction Sharie didn't make the first cut last year it was the year before, however with the MU franchise it is pretty likely that the top 5 in terms height will get more strict as time increases -- .., Thursday, May 12, 07:31:40pm
- Oh, I most forget.... LLATETRA LAING DIDN'T COMPETE IN MISS BAHAMAS UNIVERSE! She compete in Miss Bahamas World! So what being host queen fa Miss Universe have ta do with it? (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 07:40:13pm
- And I don't see how u could say dat wasnt a competitve year when pageant veterans AND TALL GIRLS like KENDRA WILKINSON get left out da top 5!!! (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 07:42:25pm
- ok listen since u slow MISS BAHAMAS WORLD was not as competitive because alot of good girls went to compete in MU and 2 they didn't OWN!!!!! Miss U Franchise at the time back to the post the longer they own that the stricter the rules will get in my opion u have ur own they cud listen to u and risk 3000 or they cud listen to the above poster who is clearly upset or fam member upset that they are out 3000 the decision is the future short girls own! -- :) that is all ), Thursday, May 12, 07:55:12pm
- No.... since U slow, my point is MBW had stiff competition in 2009. Just compare da top 5 of MBW with top 5 of MBU. MBU - Kiara Sherman (cause a national uproar), Ife Bethel Sears (NOT pretty), Amanda Appleyard (da best one), Alyssa Knowles (pretty but borin), Camille Kenny (MBW has been). MBW Top 5: Joanna Brown (stand out beauty), Llatetra Laing (stunning, exotic), Dashanique Poitier (Top 15 Miss Intercontinental); Devera Pinder (pageant veteran), and Gabby Major (very pretty SHORT girl). (NT) -- Das my 5 cents!, Thursday, May 12, 08:48:51pm
- Finally a good reason to reply on here! I too thought about the fact that the girls paid so much and got so little. I mean, $3,000 and being made to sell 10 tickets or pay for them is a lot much. You would think that with that amount of money being charged that the girls would have gotten a better contestant's package. The only thing they got were the cheap opening unveiling dresses and shoes and....swimsuit (sponsored), opening dresses (sponsored) , cheap earrings, thats just wrong. If you want to claim to be the best and charge for that honor, them you need to live up to the task and do a better job witht he gifts and prize packages. The organization did a dirty on that one I must say, (NT) -- Truth be told, Friday, May 13, 04:22:54pm
- MBO does do shit sometimes but I looking at the big picture. The entry fees are high but they have so much bills to pay like MW&MU fees, Training fees, queens wardrobe, contestants wardrobes, setting events fees etc. -- Pageant enthusiast, Friday, May 13, 05:10:25pm
- Honestly, I think this is a bit unfair to say that's all they got. I think you all are forgetting the most important thing they got which is 3 MONTHS OF GROOMING AND TRAINING! Do you all remember what most of those girls looked like in the first Backstage Pass show compared to how they looked on pageant night? No comparison! To me, that's the most important thing they get, not the clothes, shoes, etc. Because those things fade. But if you can give a person confidence or help them to feel better about themselves, I think that's priceless! MBO may not be perfect, but they the best we have right now and they a hell of a lot better than what we had! (NT) -- MBO fan, Friday, May 13, 07:39:39pm
- It should be said that there are many things to be desired about the conduct and professionalism of MBO. Moving on...you can not say that Sasha performed final night or any other...she was always just there. She is that wall flower that a certain poster keeps mentioning. I do remember several posts on here before where ppl were sayign she looked manly and unpolished. If you watched the pageant the other night, the girl looked lost for most of the time. She can not speak well so I am certain her interview could not have been that amazing. The screening interview, the online interview, on stage for top 10 question she was lost and her answer was as lost as she looked, (top 5 answer was okay :-s) , the interview on Sawyer almost make me want to cry for her how horrible she was. That being said, it is clear that the judges decision is final, but don't come on here playing all know it all and that there were no mistakes made because CLEARLY there were MANY! (NT) -- Truth be told, Friday, May 13, 04:26:28pm
- As much as I love Sasha I 100% Understand where you are coming from. Also sometimes you have to understand pageants sometimes use strategy to move on. Sasha does not have the skills and thats whats killing her, however MW is 6 months away. Sasha is well established she has a degree so obviously she has sense lol but its just the skills. Miss World was between Darronique and Sasha. Darry has the skills and the beauty it just that she's young and I would hate for us to rush the process for her. I'm going recommend Darry, Ktisty and Brooke rejoin again. I see plenty potential in them. (NT) -- Pageant enthusiast, Friday, May 13, 05:01:42pm
- Truth be Told you could only be a contestant or someone closely related to the pageant or one of the other contestants. How do you know she was a wall flower? WOW people sure are bitter. 1st of all I watched both television broadcasts you're talking about and in both I thought she did really well from what people were saying about her. I think you are taking it WAY out of proportion. If you don't know the girl personally stop coming on here bashing people it only makes you look like the bitter person you are and shows why you or your fav. didnt win. There's no rushing the process for darronique, shes know what's what in pageant world. Its not like she hasnt done pageantry before. Darry and Kristy re-entering, Yes. Brooke, No. (NT) -- Bahamas Queens Fan, Saturday, May 14, 09:58:55am
- That is not nice to see what you are saying, it shows that you are a disgruntled family member. There's no need for you to say the things you say. Ms. Malcolm, knows what she's doing. Can you talk? do you have what it takes to do what she's doing? If so come out and prove it. The pagaent is over nowm, move on, the best was chosen. I don't think that Sasha Joyce should have made it and my fingers and cross but it is what it is. (NT) -- Move on, Friday, May 13, 08:22:46pm
