WRTV" on 19:40:20 03/04/13 Mon Brewington's case is by far the most extreme example of the abuse of power in Dearborn County and is the focal point, but the real tragedy is the sheer number of people that get pummeled every single day by the courts here. Pathetic representation and grossly overcharged cases render the common person defenseless to do anything but play dead and accept a lopsided plea deal; rather than face a lengthy stay in the money maker they call jail.
