A poster stated "I generally support anonymous posting, particularly under a consistent pen name, but you all need to stay out of the mud and set an example for your supporters and allies, or I will strip the mask from all such posts (by anyone), past, present and future. Let's start relying on logic, facts, and values instead of invective, insults and threats, shall we?" and also stated "I tell you what - anyone that leaves their lawyer at home and can stalk all they want. Sound fair?".
Since the only legal course to obtain the actual name of an anonymous poster is by subpoena or court order, how are above posts any different than posters talking about libel and slander. They all require some kind of legal action to obtain the poster's names unless there is something we do not know. Opinions please....
