The other day I came across the Dearborn County Assessor's website and did a little looking around. I encourage people to type in the names of some of the people who consult, represent, or work for the County government on the assessor's website. Check out where some of the local lawyers live. You can see who lives next to who and who owns what property. Many of the County lawyers and officials are just a pitching wedge away or a boat trip across "the lake" from each other. It really puts some perspective into who runs the county and raises some questions about the decision making process. It's hard to criticize people when they are part of your Sunday foursome at the country club.

I saw a few reports back that the commissioners had given it the go ahead.

It's good to see out county catching up with the rest of the state.

Republicans have gone to a new level- not only is the patronage job given to Bill Ewbank- he gets to keep his regular job with the county too. Supposedly he needs more money to retire.
So they find a way to get it for him. WHY?
Who's pushing for this? Looks like Cary Pickens. WHY?
Who's going along with it? Hughes and Orschell. WHY?
WHY should the taxpayers support this? What's in it for us?

Judge James D Humphrey knows that Dr. Edward J Connor doesn't always tell the truth, yet he just appointed Dr. Connor to evaluate Andrew Conley for the defense in Conley's murder trial. www.danbrewington.blogspot.com Prosecutor Aaron Negangard knows of Dr. Connor's unethical and illegal conduct but turns a blind eye. It is irresponsible to involve Dr. Connor in any trial, especially one that affects so many people. Will Dr. Connor blame all of Conley's actions on the Showtime series "Dexter"? Maybe Dr. Connor will claim Conley's actions are attributed to being sexually aroused while being spanked by a nun while he was in the 5th grade, just as Dr. Connor testified to during the sentencing hearing in Kenneth Mullinkin's child pornography case www.nky.com.

Prosecutor Aaron Negangard is aware of Dr. Connor's unethical and illegal conduct yet Negangard refuses to take action against Judge Humphrey's expert. I fail to see why Judge James D Humphrey and Prosecutor Aaron Negangard would risk a mistrial or unnecessary appeals in the Conley case because they insist on protecting Dr. Edward J Connor. Allowing Dr. Connor to play a role in such a tragic situation is irresponsible. Enabling Dr. Connor to continue his unethical and illegal conduct in the Dearborn County Courts is criminal.

This is the testimony of the "professional" that Judge James D Humphrey uses in the Dearborn Circuit Court. The child custody evaluator, Dr. Edward J Connor, could not keep the truth straight even in a simple line of questioning. My divorce case, as some of you may know, is out of the Ripley Circuit Court. After Judge Carl H Taul recused himself following his ex parte communication with custody evaluator Dr. Edward J Connor, Judge James D Humphrey took over the case. How bad has Judge James D Humphrey hurt the children of Dearborn County? Judge Humphrey cited Dr. Connor as a reason for terminating my ability to see my 3 and 6 year old girls. Judge Humphrey obviously mistook me for a father who didn't love his children. Judge Humphrey didn't count on me being passionate about children's rights. Go to Dan's Blog to see the first of many of Dr. Connor's ignorant statements made in the May 27, 2009 hearing. See how Judge Humphrey decided to punish two little girls in his attempt to protect Dr. Connor. January marks the time where commissioners reappoint or appoint people to various boards and positions. The newspaper listed those offices earlier this month and the commissioner's office will also provide them if requested. Offer to serve- encourage others to as well. New ideas are the way things change- not putting the same people back into office or onto boards all the time. Might be a good new year's resolution- a little extra civic duty. Give it some thought.

Yes, And you know Krienhop is related to Negangard by marriage and Aaron is backing Krienhop for sheriff. One big family of prosecutorial abuse. Justice system in Dearborn County is all political and biased. Special Crimes unit is a waste-it isn't any different than having investigators. It just helps to pay for it out of the prosecutors office and Aaron can have control and oversee. Prosectorial Abuse. We need a new prosecutor and a fresh unbiased office that doesn't over charge and work with facts. it is all opinionated.

Is anyone else here disturbed by the fact that a republican caucus replaced the vacant county council seat? That means less than 50 people got to vote someone into office for more than 3 years--without having to run it by the general voters. There is a flaw in that system.

A poster stated "I generally support anonymous posting, particularly under a consistent pen name, but you all need to stay out of the mud and set an example for your supporters and allies, or I will strip the mask from all such posts (by anyone), past, present and future. Let's start relying on logic, facts, and values instead of invective, insults and threats, shall we?" and also stated "I tell you what - anyone that leaves their lawyer at home and can stalk all they want. Sound fair?".

Since the only legal course to obtain the actual name of an anonymous poster is by subpoena or court order, how are above posts any different than posters talking about libel and slander. They all require some kind of legal action to obtain the poster's names unless there is something we do not know. Opinions please....
