This man before he was ever even charged admitted that he stopped at this function.He never denied it,not once.He stood up like a honest man and admitted he made a mistake.I read on here where someone stated a law that if you knowingly or intentionally then it is a felony.Do you really think an officer of 21 years who has never been in any type of trouble would knowingly or intentionally of done this,and took a chance of being charged and loose his job?Come on people,wake up.He made a mistake,every human makes an honest mistake,that does not make a person a criminal.I agree if you knowingly and intentionally do a criminal act,that is different.If that we're the case,he would have never of admitted what he had done from day one.You better check in to a lot of other officers that have been charged and took pleas for a lot worse that are still officers.How about this senario.How many officers have you seen at his child's sports activity coaches meeting listening about their kids scheduling ,rules,fund raisers,etc.Everyone of them committed ghost employment.What about an officer on duty on Christmas Day and he stops at his families home for dinner,then he just committed ghost employment.If you want to penalize one mistake,then you had better penalize all of them.Face it,it all started due to who he beat.Now with them firing him from any position within the city,all because he refused to be one of them and stood up for the people.Look at all the wrong doing from the very ones on the board trying to fire him.All you have to do is be an honest open minded person and look at this,and you can tell.In this community,if your not one of them,and you speak up,your going down.It doesn't even matter Republican or Democrat,it just matters if your one of them.
