I have never replied to a blog here, not matter what is being said about my husband, but this time I have to. He has been with Bright Fire and EMS for 15 years, the majority of them 15 years it was strictly volunteer. In the beginning and for many years he worked night shift, so he would almost on a daily basis make daytime runs. Some days going without no sleep at all. He was not paid a penny for these runs. He was the one instrumental in helping Bright becoming staffed 24/7. As for the year he took a leave, which was only one year. He returned because they needed volunteers, so once again he stepped up to the plate. He has never been in it for the money. Please ask the Diremen and EMT's that have been around for years about Steve Callahan. Callahan for Coroner is the best person for the job!!!!
