to theotherside- They really want you to believe that. The truth is that Dan tried to get a court approved evaluator (after he publicly criticized the Dearborn County Court System) and Judge James D. Humphrey set a hearing on the matter for three months down the road. Then, just a week before that hearing was to take place, Humphrey recused himself citing an on-going ten month investigation. So, in review, Humphrey sat in judgment of a man, ruling on motions and setting hearing dates, all while being "intimidated" by that man. Everyone can easily see how unethical and immoral the judge's behavior has been. Humphrey and his buddy, Prosecutor F. Aaron Negangard, are not afraid of Dan Brewington. What they are afraid of is someone standing up to the behavior of some unethical (at best) public officials in Dearborn County. The sad reality is that Judge James D. Humphrey held two little girls hostage from their father and used them as pawns in a game to punish their father for not properly respecting the all mighty Dearborn County family court judge. Remember, Humphrey was presented with no evidence in the divorce hearings for taking a father away from two small children; no criminal history, no abuse, no neglect, no drugs or alcohol, only "courtroom behavior". Courtroom behavior that didn't even warrant a contempt charge. As a matter of fact, the judge left the children in the care of their father (equal with the mother) for over two months after the final hearing; same as it had been for two and a half years prior to that. So did the good judge leave two small children in the care of a "dangerous" man after the final hearing?... I think it's pretty clear what happened. Judge Humphrey's actions were mentally abusive to two small children. And when Dan Brewington took to the internet to call Judge Humphrey a child abuser for his inexplicable actions, they trumped up some phony internal fear and sent him to prison.
