Think of all the time and money that has been wasted with death investigations. Look at this latest case in Aurora. If the EMT's had done their job and just pronounced the woman dead and transported her to the morgue, the coroner and police would have never gotten involved. Of course, potentially, that would have left a murderer walking our streets, but it would have saved the county a lot of money. No investigation, no charges, no arrest, no housing the suspect, no trial, etc. I can see the benefit.......by the way, yes that was sarcasm. I am sure there will be people that don't recognize it.
