As clerk I would be responsible for any student in the office, in conjunction with the assigned Dean from the University. I had to do this type of work to graduate myself. In regards to examples, we must map the process first to give truly quantifiable examples of savings. However, moving to more online tools will reduce paper usage. Developing SOP's reduces the amount of time it takes to train future employees and makes it easier to cover people when they are out of the office. The very act of having fully developed extremely detailed SOP's, that includes screen shoots, will save both time and money.
FYI- I will be at the Dearborn Adult Center on 7/13/12 at 5:30pm hosting a Chicken dinner stop by we will talk about it.
