The cost of prisons? How about the incarceration of an individual who complains about elected officials? Let's see what the cost is for Indiana to incarcerate someone for 5 years: Cost to house in prison--$109,500 at $60.00 per day, cost of the public defender to represent the prisoner-- $.00-- this was a bargain because he was paid what he is worth and not the standard fee, cost of the prosecutor, staff, and professional witnesses to incarcerate-- limitless because tax dollars are used-- OURS, and finally moral integrity of individuals who started the mess--ZERO--as citizens, we elected the morons.
