With two trials, each taking 2-3 days I would estimate she had to answer 200 or so motions. Blocking evidence by Dan would would also be a factor. Point is, he thought he could run up her bill at will and not have to pay. Many in divorces think they can bankrupt an ex with legal bills and laugh about it later. Usually they find out that the judge can see right through them and they get stuck with the bill. Then it's cry baby city and suddenly the judge is sooooo unfair. They end up filing bankruptcy and find out that it's protection leaves something to be desired against a po'd attorney. Collections start coming with a vengence. Thing is, they still don't get it. They just can't understand that judges are not going to give them the time of day unless they can learn to get along with the ex at least where children are concerned.
