In response to a facebook post that I cannot respond to, I would like to give my side. In an article of the Thursday December 2 issue of �The Register�, I voiced my concerns about some of the issues that our small town is faced with. All of the issues that I have brought before council and those that are to come were the words of the citizens of our town, which I learned as I walked our streets and talked with the good people of Aurora. In no way was it a result of the election outcome that the issues came out, win, lose or draw the voices of the citizens of Aurora needed to be heard. It was one of the hardest parts of the election, to not sling mud and call names, but from the start I wanted no �politics� in my campaign. The �I did not steal a car today vote for me� and �I am just doing this for the free dirt� shirts I would leave to the other side. In the future if there is an issue that the city of Aurora is not dealing with, I will be happy to stand-up and make sure the citizens know what is happening with our town. If you want an answer, feel free to give me the question and I will do my best to get the answer.
