The attorney was representing his client vigorously and the Judge ordered the attorney held in contempt and the attorney sat in jail for 4 hours. If the attorney was in Dearborn County, the Judge would have been intimidated, the family dog would be in convulsions, the relatives in nursing homes would be walking away from the nursing homes, the kids away at college would be under police protection, the helocopters would be flying over the courthouse and the judge's residence, police patrols would provide 24 hours surveillance and the prosecutor would indict the attorney for obstruction of justice. Thank goodness the attorney works in Michigan. We are blessed with attorneys who act as public defenders who simply breathe air and little more.
