I have been so disappointed with Dearborn County that I haven't been here for a while. Yes, the answer is YES, they need to be voted out. Obviously, they have failed to act proper and uphold their pledge to be representatives of the citizens of Dearborn County. It is scary to think that they don't even KNOW what a conflict of interest really is. They said they did the numbers and have done their homework, but when you ask them directly "What numbers? What homework?" They remain silent and can not give you a direct answer. The truth is they made their minds up about expanding the jail and they don't CARE what we, the citizens of Dearborn County think. They made that abundantly clear with their ridiculous comments to my questions and their voting record. I am now on here again to ask for a concerned, honest citizens (that work in the private sector) to please challenge these council members so we can clean house this year, before it's too late.
Chester you are right this is why The Hatch Act was put in place, Judge Witte knew it but yet, they are still allowed to hold office, and they should not be there in the first place.
