If we have Govt. officials who don't pay on the local level prop. tax, I wonder what the state and federal tax returns look like for these individuals? You can request audits based on local failure such as this.
Disgusting that those with honest accountability make up for people who do not pay, and those who get around the laws banking on ability to get away with it.
The economy may be tough, but didn't your parents teach you to pay your taxes and bills above all else and that you should not buy what you cannot pay for??? This individual financial responsibility seems a foreign concept any more.
