I have to agree, many many others before Doug Taylor have went to events and campaigned while working their full time job. Most of the time they are not uniformed police officers so it is harder to tell they are on the clock somewhere. He violated a policy at his work place, not a law. If he worked at his own business and was working at the time, but left to go to a campaign event, would that be any different? What if he worked for someplace like Anchor Glass and went to campaign on the clock? The biggest difference is, you would not have known.

I don't live in Lawrenceburg, so I can't vote for Doug. I am not sure I would if I could. I am not defending anyone, jut pointing out that he didn't do anything that hasn't been done in the past.
