It is in everyone's best interest as Americans to recognize the effect of the Brewington trial on our right of free speech. I am appalled by the trial and waste of tax dollars in the trial of an individual who speaks his mind about elected officials. There is nothing sacred about the elected officials in Dearborn County or any other community. If what Brewington said was false, sue him. Nobody sued Brewington so I have to believe there is truth in what he wrote. If an individual can be convicted of writing something which is not true, I say indict the politicians who promise everything and deliver very little. What is the standard for permitting a citizen to speak? In Dearborn County the prosecutor decides what you can say and what you can't say. This is shocking beyond belief.
