Hill was born in northeastern Rush County and continues to live and work on the family farm with his wife, Lori, son, Grant and daughter, Abigail.Hill currently serves on the board of directors of the Rush County Historical Society and is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville.
He is a 1997 graduate of Hanover College, where he earned a bachelor�s degree in American History. Hill worked two years and then enrolled in law school at Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis; he graduated in May 2002.
Hill partnered with John O. Worth, representing clients in various areas of law: civil litigation, criminal defense, bankruptcy, agricultural law, family law, probate and estate planning. Hill also served as legal counsel for the Rush County Area Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and the Town of Glenwood.
