He has nothing on the Lawrenceburg Police. All summer long 2 or three nights a week there was a Lawrenceburg SUV type police vehicle at the little league games in Greendale. First of all this guy was in uniform getting paid to watch his son play baseball and I'm not talking just stopping by to say hello. I'm talking start to finish 2 full hours. The best part of it all is the vehicle would be left running with a pool of water under it for the entire 2 hours at nearly $4.00 a gallon. Furthermore I think it would be fair to say that the officer's response time to a crime or an accident in his jurisdiction would be severely degraded. I think this could, would, and should present a liability to the Lawrenceburg police department when there is an inability to respond to a crisis situation in a timely manner. I contacted the Lawrenceburg police department concerning this matter by both phone and email and was never given a response as to why this is allowed to go on at taxpayer expense.
