I agree my daughter came home yesterday, and said how choir was so boring because all they talked about was fundraising. She raised her hand and told her teacher that she is tired of knocking on the neighbors doors, and that we never get the prizes we are promised. Last year she went out and sold 8 items because she was promised a pound of chocolate and she never received it. They extended the school day by 30 min, they need to extend the learning time and outlaw school fundraising period. American schools are the most funded schools in the entire world. Yet, our kids are way, way behind globally. Schools don't need more money.
