Response to Bail Hearing
Does PERFECT record mean nothing in the US anymore. That’s what Dan had with his girls. No complaints from police, social services, no attempts to change the parenting schedule in 2 ½ years before the final divorce hearing, no drug, alcohol, abuse charges, no medical emergencies. They were 3 and 1 when this all started. That means diapers and bottles, potty training and getting rid of pacifiers. He had his girls from 6:25AM until the following morning at 8:00AM every Wed., Fri., and 3rd Monday and equal weekends for 2 ½ years. He never forgot the girls, had to cancel, or ran more than a few minutes late. He has always been current with child support. He had never been away from the girls for more than 4 days since they were born. Indiana laws and Indiana Parenting guidelines meant nothing to this court. I don’t believe you could find a child psychologist in the US that would think it a good idea to separate this man from his children. You act as if it were to be no big deal. Why didn’t he just get an evaluation? He already had a custody evaluator that said he was a fit parent and could not get a copy of the custody case file that was agreed to in the contract signed with Edward Connor of Erlanger. This meant that no one could question Dr.Connor because no one could study his notes behind his interpretations. People in these kinds of professions are bound by law to report when children are in trouble, psychologists, nurses, judges. No reports went out. If Judge H. thought the children to be in danger why did he wait 2 ½ months to take the children away? There was no discussion in the final hearing that Dan would lose his girls. He and his oldest had plans for the following week for her first day of kindergarten. Think that could have happened under Judge Humphries orders? That time is never coming back to the girls, Dan, or Dan’s family and we will continue to work to let people know the real truth.
