No, bail was not set that high because of this alleged "drive by". This "information" was not presented to the court until after the original bond hearing. And, the information came from a habitual thief who appears to "talk" when he gets in trouble for stealing cars. The original "tip" came from crime stoppers.(the ANONYMOUS hot-line) No follow-up was done by the Cincinnati police, or the ATF agent who was apparently involved and no local, state, or federal charges were ever filed. And perhaps most importantly, NO CHARGES WERE FILED BY DEARBORN COUNTY NOR WAS ANY OF THIS "NEW" EVIDENCE IN THE DISCOVERIES PRESENTED BY THE PROSECUTOR TO BE USED AT TRIAL! Does anyone who knows anything about this witch hunt really believe that F. Aaron Negangard would not want to use this information at the trial of a man accused of intimidating a judge? Threatening a "drive-by" on a judge would be the height of intimidation. If this "informant" or these trumped up allegations slandering Dan Brewington had even a shred of validity, Negangard would have filed more charges in order to further "protect" the public from this "dangerous" person. The residents of Dearborn County should be making serious inquiries about how much taxpayer money is being spent by F. Aaron Negangard on his personal vendetta against an innocent man.
